I have been a printmaker since 1980 working predominantly in lithography with forays into intaglio, silk screening and relief printmaking. In 1996 my work began to shift from printing on paper to printing on fabric. This evolution resulted from a subtle shift in my pattern of thinking and creating caused by my involvement with theatre (costumes) and the craft community in Saskatchewan. As a “fiber artist” with a strong foundation in printmaking, I can move freely from one area to another. Add to this the ability to create my own hand dyed fabrics and the possibilities become endless! It’s just too much fun!
