Heath Matysek-Snyder

I am a furniture designer, object maker and teacher living in Madison, Wisconsin. I

received my BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2000 and my MFA from

the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2004. I was a Resident Artist at San Diego State

University, in the Furniture Design program from 2005-2007 and an Artist-in-Residence

at Designed Objects Tasmania (DOT) in Tasmania, Australia from 2008-2009. I have

shown nationally and internationally and have work held in collections in the United

States and Australia. I have been teaching and running the Wood and Furniture Design

program in the Art Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, since 2009.
