Sandra Scicchitani is a printmaker and painter. She was born in Buffalo, New York and raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Upon completion from high school, she took art classes at Bucks County Community College. The rich and thriving creative community there served to intensify Sandra’s passion for pursuing her own artistic endeavors. She went on to earn her BFA at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia and her MFA at Maryland Institute College of Art where she had the honor to study with the renowned abstract abstractionist, Grace Hartigan. Since 1987 she has taught various art classes at community colleges within the Philadelphia area, and continues to teach printmaking at Montgomery County Community College. Sandra has been showing her work continually since 1984. Her work is included in public and private collections on the east coast. She has participated in the artist collaborative, Echo Lake since 2013 and is thrilled to be invited to EMMA International Collaboration in 2022
