Sam also known as “Night Shift” by the EMMA community is a multidisciplinary artist based in Saskatoon, internationally recognized for his contributions to graffiti and urban art as a member of the renowned ZNC crew.
Specializing in large-scale murals during the summer months, Sam transitions to indoor projects and canvas work during the winter. His artistic practice is deeply influenced by his professional background in welding, fabrication, engineering, and industrial design. This technical expertise informs his unique approach to sculpture and abstract art, often incorporating metalwork into his pieces.
Sam’s creative expression isn’t confined to specific materials or formats—his work evolves with each project, drawing on a wide range of mediums including wood, cardboard, glass, and more. Whether it’s public installations, gallery pieces, or experimental design, Sam approaches every endeavor with a hands-on, boundary-pushing mindset.
