Rick Crawford

I am a self taught sculptor and jeweler, which I consider to be wearable sculpture. My work is informed by the forms, patterns, and textures that I see in Mother Nature. I also have a keen interest in ancient history, archaeology, and ancient tribal iconography, which also influence my pieces. I strive to utilize as much repurposed materials as possible, especially wood, which gives me the opportunity to explore texture in relation to the patterns in the material.
