I am a maker and educator. I was trained as a fine furniture maker but my work has always been more poetic than practical. Still, my focus has always centered on objects and materials. These days my work shows the influences of ceramics, metalsmithing and a continued appreciation of everyday objects and the vernacular regional culture of small town New England where I have lived for the last twenty years.
