I am an interdisciplinary artist of settler ancestry working out of Saskatoon in Treaty 6 Territory. My sculptural works centre on abandonment, redemption, and decay. I use reclaimed materials, found objects, and anything I can find for colour and mark making as part of connecting to my immediate world. It’s important to me that my art connects me to other ways of seeing and experiencing the systems around me. My art practice centres on human connection to objects and people and those objects’ and peoples’ connection to place. Ultimately, I make art to feel human. I hold a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Saskatchewan.
