Addison De Lisle

Addison de Lisle is an artist-metalsmith, and holds a BFA in Metalsmithing & Jewelry from the Maine College of Art & Design, an MFA in Metalsmithing & Blacksmithing from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and completed a year-long fellowship in architectural ironwork at the Fondation de Coubertin in France. He has taught at notable craft centers including Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Penland School of Craft, Touchstone Center for Craft, Appalachian Center for Craft, John C. Campbell Folk School, Peters Valley School of Craft, the Center for Metal Arts, and the American College of the Building Arts, and exhibits work nationally and internationally. In 2025, de Lisle was awarded a Maine Artist Fellowship by the Maine Arts Commission in recognition of artistic excellence. Noteworthy commissions include the Unitarian Church in Charleston, the Sette of Odd Volumes Society, Warren Lasch Conservation Center, and the Juliette Low Birthplace Museum. He works as Contributing Editor & Designer of The Anvil’s Ring magazine and maintains a studio practice in Damariscotta, Maine, USA.
